Avalon Campground Inc.is a non-profit orginazation that holds a 501 (c) 3 tax staus it has been established to solve the problem that central Oklahoma is faced with.
There are few available facilities suitable to host a Royal Family Kids’ Camp of this magnitude!
Avalon will provide a uniquely suited campground to hold such camps for
fifty or more foster children in each of ten to twelve weeks of summer.

Avalon Campground Inc. is made up of a Board of Directors and an Executive Director.
The Board of Directors is a team of dedicated professionals they are: Greg Roberts, Dennis Metheny and Gary Lynch.
Past board members have included local business professionals who have moved on to other endeavors.
Avalon is currently searching for a new executive director.

Greg Roberts, Chairman
Is 40 years young and is a full time Police Officer for Norman P.D.
He has an Associates degree from St. Gregory's College, and a Bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma.
He's involved in several ministries from his local church, including a leader in HOPE ministry, focusing on adoptions and foster care, a facilitator for a Sunday School class, small group leader, member of the steering committee for our local Royal Family Kids' Camps.
Greg and his wife LaDeana are the two that founded Avalon and are both very involved with the operation.

Undeveloped land for Avalon has been secured.
Site plans and architectural blueprints are now being developed for buildings, roads, parking lots, trails,
fishing and canoeing lakes and a swimming pool, as well as activity venues for the campground.
Avalon Campground will be designed in such a way to meet all the needs
of the Royal Family Kids' camps criteria. Avalon will be a premier campground
for at risk children to come experience a safe environment that has a goal of nothing more
than making "Positive Memories" for children who have known few during their lives.
Please join us in teaching these children to learn to know a life more than fear, disappointment, neglect
and abuse. Help us enable these kids to learn what it means to laugh, play, sing, swim, fish
and to be a child who is loved unconditionally.
